This instrument, generally known as a baro-thermograph records both barometric pressure and temperature on the same chart. The two recording arms move freely past each other over a weekly chart. This instrument has a re-finished case in red mahogany with bevelled edged glass and the brass movement is in a faded gold lacquer. There are two ink bottles in red and blue ink to record the separate elements. At the base is a chart drawer with a centre divider for new and used charts. Although unsigned it was probably made by Short and Mason of London for a retailer. Charts supplied.
