A polished mahogany barograph with MDS London engraved on an ivory plaque fitted to the base. Circa 1900. The case has a hinged lid with bevelled glass. The unusual movement has two large sets of diaphragms linked to an open barometer dial engraved with the standard weather predictions. There is a lovely curved mercury barometer fitted to the lower part of the dial. Charts and fresh ink will be provided.
