This is a highly collectable barograph by Heath, Hicks and Perkins, an amalgamation of three well respected manufacturers from the mid-19th century. This lovely barograph has a sturdy polished mahogany case with beveled glass and a chart drawer to the base. There is a mercury thermometer engraved with the company trade name, Hezzanith. All in good working order. Attached is an extract from Heath, Hicks & Perkins' 1959 trade catalogue highlighting this instrument, describing it as '....suitable for private home, clubs etc.'. 220mm H x 372mm W x 223mm H.
