A most unusual presentation barograph set in a glass dome with an ebonized wood base. The movement is electro-plated and uses standard barograph charts and is in excellent condition. These glass domed display barographs were popular in the early Edwardian era, often manufactured by J. Hicks of Hatton Garden, London - see extract from their 1913 trade catalogue. However, few have survived due to the delicate nature of the glass dome. The plaque reads:-
