Wild temperature fluctuations June 2026

Week commencing Monday 22nd June started with a maximum of 85.2'F and then a virtually instant drop of 12.0'F during the onset of a late afternoon thunderstorm. Tuesday and Wednesday enjoyed maximums of 85.6'F and 86.5'F then increased dramatically to 94.6'F on Wednesday. The rest of the week saw a return to a west/southwest airflow with a maximum of just 68.0'F here in Somerset on Sunday.
