Storm Goretti
Just a typical stormy winter's night in lowland Somerset, heavy rain at times, gusting Northerly winds reaching 50MPH, no snow but temperature down to a chilly 2'C. Goretti's deep low pressure system passed through quite quickly as you can see from the record on this monthly barograph. I've also shown Decembers barograph chart clearly showing a succession of low pressure systems.

Curious Charts
I've seen numerous barograph charts over the years although most are either the old English style in inches, generally 28" - 31" or the more recent and now generally accepted 950 millibars to 1050 millibars.In France you can occasionally still see the equivalent range in millimeters 710 to 810.
