Another lovely 'as new' display barograph, this one by Russell Scientific of Norwich and their flagship model -  known as The Blakeney.  Sadly, one of the last to be made by this well respected company. The case is in unblemished polished mahogany* with glass all round set into an imposing lift off lid. There is a two compartment chart drawer at the base. It comes complete with original packing list and instructions.
The instrument would make a great retirement gift  (my late father chose a similar one) or any other celebration present. A small plaque brass is available for fixing to the brass baseplate or inside the chart drawer. Note also that new barographs are no longer commercialy made in the UK making this instrument particularly collectable. 
Also available is an aneroid banjo barometer/thermometer in contemporary style by Russell Scientific at a nominal £100 (the adjacent Wisden is there for scale purposes only!).
A quantity of weekly charts together with a fresh bottle of recording ink are included and also a reprinted period pamphlet by Negretti & Zambra Ltd describing operating instructions and how to interpret typical chart recordings.
