This is a modern and extremely accurate barograph by Barigo of Germany and retailled in the UK by Metcheck. In compact form, the instrument is housed in a polished hardwood case, glass on four sides with a useful carry handle on top. There is  a sturdy quartz clock movement and the drum uses standard size charts, available in millibars or inches with Sunday or Monday start. Probably used on a shipping vessel as there is a level bubble on the base. These quality instruments sell new for over £2000.
A quantity of weekly charts included together with an orignal instruction leaflet and a reprinted copy of a 1930s pamphlet which illustrates how to interpret chart records.
