A rare, large pattern barograph by renowned makers, Negretti and Zambra of London. Probably from a club or public school. A set of ten diaphragms operates the movement & and records on to a 5” deep chart enabling the small changes in pressure to be identified. A mercury filed thermometer is fitted to the lacquered brass base. The rich oak glass case has a hinged lid and a chart drawer to the base. Overall size of the barograph is 440mm wide x 255mm deep.
