A small pattern single glass cased barograph manufactured by Richard Freres of Paris, with the RF logo and ‘Made in France’ stamped on the lacquered base. The polished light oak case has a hinged lid and is fitted with an ivory plaque to the front stating  ‘Negretti and Zambra, London’. The serial number 40279 would date this instrument to around 1902.Charts and ink included.
