This is an extremely rare electrical recording anemometer (or anemograph) by Casella. In fact this is the only one I have seen in over 60 years of collecting meteorological instruments. The original chart on the clock drum has been copied exctly and 200 new charts have been printed by a specialist supplier. A fascinating piece of early electrical technology, described in more detail by the extract from Casella's 1925 trade catalogue. Great as a static display or external cup counter unit and support bracket available at extra cost.
512mm wide x 245mm high x 250mm deep.
