Edwardian Barograph, Aronsberg, Liverpool.

A post WW1 Edwardian barograph in golden oak signed on the brass baseplate by Chas. Aronsberg, Liverpool & London. I would date this example at around 1920. The 5 piece lift off lid has bevelled glass all round with a decorative moulded oak frame. There is a deeper than average chart drawer to the base. The weekly clock movement is in good working order and the lacquered brass barograph mechanism is in excellent condition.

A quantity of weekly charts is included together with a fresh bottle of special blue recording ink and a reprinted 1930s pamphlet by Negretti & Zambra describing operating instructions and how to interpret typical chart recordings.
