A compact Russian Met Office issue barograph with their logo to the outer case and the date, 1968, with serial number 3069 stamped on the baseplate. This robust but retro style case has a 3 glass hinged lid in black Bakelite. The very sturdy mechanism has an accurate movement and the drum uses standard weekly charts. There is a Bakelite push button to open the lid and a chrome push button for a time marker. 
The instrument was likely made in Latvia and is in excellent working order.
