Set in a re-polished large ornate mahogany case with radiused corners and bevelled glass, this imposing barograph has an unusual movement comprising 2 large diaphragms, circa mid 1930s. The brass base to the movement is engraved Standley Belcher and Mason Ltd, ‘Simplex’ Barograph Reg No. 468791. There is a chart record for December 1951, making a great presentation gift for someone born in that month and I can include a number of original weekly charts.
A fresh bottle of recording ink, red or blue, will be included and a re-printed copy of a pamphlet by Negretti and Zambra (who later took over Short and Mason) describing operating instructions and the interpretation of various chart recordings. 
A blank brass nameplate can also be included if required.
