This is an early 1920s display barograph in rich polished oak case with bevelled glass all round. There is a two-compartment chart drawer to base with a fixed panel below - always a sign of quality. Some signs of fading over its 100 years but this only adds to its provenance and does not affect the overall appearance. There is the original glass ink bottle with brass stopper and a thermometer attached to the baseplate reading in both fahrenheit and centigrade scales. The mechanism and weekl clock movement are all in good working order.
A selection of charts will be included together with a fresh bottle of recording ink (red or blue) and a re-printed pamphlet describing operating instructions and interpretation of various chart recordings.
371mm wide x 229mm deep x 215mm high.
