This is a typical Mid- Edwardian barograph in a standard format, set in sturdy solid Oak case with a bevelled glass lift off lid. There is A brass plate has been fitted on the pen lift-off stem engraved with weather predictions. There is a two-compartment chart drawer to the base. Comes complete with approx 6 months supply of recording charts, a fresh bottle of ink and a reprinted pamphlet of the period describing operating instructions and interpretation of typical chart records.
