This is a lovely reproduction of a Loius XV1 barometer and crucially, much more accurate! The highly ornate case is in a substantial cast metal case with a traditional gilt effect finish.
The interesting aneroid barometer is actually British made would have been manufactured in the 1960s  and has the tried and tested rack and pinion movement by Shortland & Bowen (revered by Collins). This imposing, but affordable instrument would adorn any location. 371mm high x 210mm max width x 42mm deep. Dial is 130mm overall the bezel.
