This is a large and very heavy thermograph by renowned French manufacturers Richard Freres, Paris. The serial number 46958 suggests it would have been made around 1904. The tin top cover is missing and the instrument would require some attention to get it going - the large clock does run for a short time so could probably do with a good clean. A very imposing piece of early 20th century engineering and would make an interesting display item. 490mm wide x 290mm deep.
