Large Oak Ropetwist Aneroid Barometer by Heath of Crayford c. 1912 England

This a large aneroid barometer set into a heavy solid polished Oak case incorporating the traditional ropetwist design. A nice open scale with clear lettering on a porcelain dial, the barometer was made by Heath of Crayford using the trade name ‘Hezzanith’. This barometer pre-dates the amalgamation of the company later known as Heath, Hicks & Perkins. There is also a patent number – 9197.
