A lovely marine barometer in a polished brass case signed on the dial by Kelvin, Bottomley & Baird (Canada Ltd.) Montreal. The barometer face shows a very open scale from 28" to 31" enabling minor pressure fluctuations to be noted. Around the base of the dial is a curved thermometer with a Fahrenheit scale ranging from 20'F to 120'F and 'Made in England' shown just above. 
 With thick bevelled glass,a solid cast brass bezel and three fixing holes, the instrument was clearly made for marine use.
A nice working instrument with no dings or dents and ready for use.
