This is one of the last style of barographs made by Casella. The intriguing modern design was adopted by Casella in the early 2000s suggesting that fewer linkages produced a more accurate trace. This particular instrument has a monthly rotation clock - perfect for those who prefer a condensed chart record and time restraints to only change the chart 12 times a year instead of 52. The case is in a light/medium polished hardwood with deep bevelled glass to the lift-off lid and all in excellent working condition. Ideal for someone not only interested in the weather but has a keen eye for modern technical excellence combined with a traditional hardwood design.
2 years supply of monthly charts, in inches or millibars, will be included together with a fresh bottle of recording ink, red or blue, and a re-printed copy of a pamphlet by Negretti and Zambra (who later took over Short and Mason) describing operating instructions and the interpretation of various chart recordings.
