This is one of the last style of barographs made by Casella. The intriguing modern design was adopted by Casella in the early 2000s suggesting that fewer linkages produced a more accurate trace. The case is in a light/medium polished hardwood with bevelled glass to the lift-off lid and all in excellent condition.
2 years supply of monthly charts, in inches or millibars, will be included together with a fresh bottle of recording ink, red or blue, and a re-printed copy of a pamphlet by Negretti and Zambra (who later took over Short and Mason) describing operating instructions and the interpretation of various chart recordings.
