This is quite an unusual barograph by well known makers, Ross of London, circa 1920. Although the entire movement and clock are of the standard size using regular size barograph charts, the case is scaled so that the the working parts all fit neatly under the five-glass lift off lid. All the visible brass work still retains its rich lacquer and complements the golden oak hardwood case.
This is the only example I have seen and would imagine it eventually positioned in a prominent but compact location where it can be fully appreciated.
A selection of weekly charts will be included (in inches or millibars) together with a fresh bottle of recording ink (red or blue) and a re-printed pamphlet describing operating instructions and interpretation of various chart recordings.
