This is an interesting barograph set within an Oak case with a two-compartment chart drawer to the base. It has a hinged lid and traditional brass movement. The barograph was probably manufactured by Negretti & Zambra in London, circa 1930 and exported to Instruments Ltd of Ottawa and Toronto who were their representives and retailers in Canada. A selection of weekly charts will be included together with a fresh bottle of recording ink, red or blue, and a re-printed copy of a pamphlet by Negretti and Zambra describing operating instructions and interpretation of various chart recordings. A blank brass nameplate can also be included if required.
