Rare Disc Barograph Circa 1920

A fine and rare disc barograph in a large polished oak case with bevelled glass and ornate moulded frame. These instruments were rarely signed although I have seen them for sale in an early 20th century trade catalogue by J. Hicks. There are two large diaphragms which create the pressure movement. The brass mechanism is finished in a lovely golden lacquer, in fact the instrument appears to have been rarely used and obviously well maintained therefore in excellent condition. A quantity of weekly disc charts and a fresh bottle of recording ink included. 402mm wide x 225mm deep x 265mm high.
