A very stylish upgraded version of the well tried and tested British Meteorological Office open scale barograph. The open scale barograph was especially designed for professional use, allowing pen travel (range 950millibars to 1050millibars) of 175mm, responding to very minor pressure fluctuations compared to 75mm for a standard barograph. The original metal framed glass lid had been damaged so the movement with a makers plaque, Wilson, Warden, London and dated 1949, has been cleaned and fitted into a completely new case. The base is polished hardwood and the lift off lid is in clear acrylic creating an extremely fine contemporary instrument which would grace any home.
