This is one of the last barographs made and sold by Russell Scientific of Norwich. I believe this company were the last manufacturers of these fine instruments in the UK and surely this maker together with this virtually unmarked barograph will be considered a future desirable collectors item. It would also be perfect as a presentation instrument. The barograph case is in polished light oak, with a deep, single compartment chart to the base. The drawer front has an interesting and unusual curved profile around the perimeter. Note! these instruments were originall retailed at well over £1000.
